Back in Norway – getting settled in

  |   Everyday life, Puppies   |   No comment

It is a little over a month ago that we all came back home to Norway after two fantastic years in Alaska. We are still busy getting settled in, and time flies with the usual spring-chores and work. The dogs are all happy and enjoying free running and playing as well as short sightseeing runs in the mountains. We’ve been fortunate to come home to a cool spring and Summer so far!

Mira and Kasper’s five puppies are growing and looking very nice. They have a very bright future ahead of them, as Mira is daughter of our main leader Sisu and sister of superstar Snuppa. She is fast and loves to hunt speed, and – as her mother and sister is a great leader. Kasper is the most relaxed, sweetest boy. He is a smart, hardworking leader with a great appetite and attitude, never tired and always eager to go.

There has been a lot of wildlife visiting the kennel such as a moose with her three calf’s, reindeers and for quite some time we were fortunate enough to have a Great Grey Owl as our guest. We’ve slowly started the fishing season for trout, too.

The latest addition to the kennel is “Skipper’n”, a homeless cat we came across quite by accident at our vet’s office and decided he would make a good addition to the kennel.
