Grizzly looked like a little bear cub when he was just a couple of weeks old. He was also the by far smallest and latecomer of his litter and showed strength making it the first days, thereof his name. He has developed into one of our main leaders, a true star in harness. Grizzly loves speed but does not mind breaking trail that is completely blown in with snow up to his belly. He is always happy to go and never gives up.
He has his sisters Nadezhda Hope, Silver Gulch and Uelen in our kennel and Bering at Shaytaan Siberian Huskies in Whitehorse.
His mother Najak finished among others both the 2014 and 2015 Iditarod with our team and his handsome father Shaytaan’s Psycho Killer (Psycho) finished the Yukon Quest as well as the Iditarod multiple times and was a great leader. He was also part of the first team of Siberian Huskies to finish both the Yukon Quest and Iditarod in one season with musher Rob Cooke.
