Honda is a sweet girl with a great talent to sing. You can’t resist her big brown eyes when she comes to be cuddled or beg for a treat. But don’t be fooled by the looks – Honda is unstoppable once she sees her harness, bouncing up and down in anticipation to finally go. Always ready, a great leader that motivates the entire team.
Honda was unfortunate and was dropped from the 2014 Iditarod when she hit her toe on the bare stretch of trail through the Alaska range, but she finished easily in 2015. She is extremely fond of food and one of the dogs that gained weight during the 2015 Iditarod, despite many days of -40C and below (she had a great time with practically unlimited amounts of various delicious snacks and food!)
Honda has her daughter Prelude at the kennel. They are very fond of one another and always share a house.
